The radio station, WELR, will re-air the Planets episode! The Joy of the Orchestra with the LaGrange Symphony’s Richard Prior, hour-long radio show produced this Planets episode for earlier this month, but the broadcast had technical difficulties. So, if you missed it, you are in luck. That show will be re-broadcast Tuesday, October 20th at 7:30 PM on WELR (Eagle 102.3 FM). You will hear the full Planets episode beginning at 7:30 PM.
Gustav Holst’s symphonic composition, The Planets, was performed by the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra on April 23rd, 2019 as their season finale. It was a very memorable performance, and will be the topic of discussion with Maestro, Richard Prior. We hope you will tune-in and listen along with the rest of our audience.
