A Virtual Holiday Concert – LaGrange Symphony Youth Orchestra!

Virtual Concert

Happy Holidays from the LaGrange Symphony Youth Orchestra (LSYO)!  The holidays are upon us, and in a normal year, we would have already gathered for a fall concert.  This year, in this great season of togetherness, we had to use some ingenuity.  At a time when social distancing is necessary, edited together here for you is a virtual concert played by the LSYO musicians.

After socially-distanced outside rehearsals at Sunny Gables Alumni House at LaGrange College ended, the focus transformed when the time changed, and the weather cooled. The LSYO members each recorded their own videos, with only an audio track for reference.

This blazes a new technical trail for our organization.  The LSYO, directed by Celeste Myall, jumped into something unfamiliar and made it work.  We are immensely proud of the courage and stamina this project required.

Happy Holidays Everyone!
