Happy Holidays from the LaGrange Symphony Youth String Ensemble

String Ensemble

The LaGrange Symphony Youth String Ensemble presents this wonderful music video, and wishes everyone Happy Holidays!

UPDATE: Timing is everything – and its too late to watch this video.  The music license for selections played in this video expired after one year, so this video is no longer available to watch.  It was great while it lasted, and a real treat for the holiday season.  Thank you to the Youth String Ensemble for this gift.  Below are some notes on what the video was about.  But just like playing music – timing is everything!
In this video

The String Ensemble, which is under the direction of Sam Lee, meets weekly in a very large room that is conducive to social distancing.  Everyone in the group wears a mask during this time along with adhering to the CDC guidelines of social distancing.  In this video, the music they are playing is entitled Clog Dance by Elliot A. Del Borgo.  The streaming license is provided by Kendor Music.

Thank you, LSYO String Ensemble, for this wonderful gift this holiday season!  We are very proud of our students who are all dedicated musicians!  Even in this difficult year, they have found ways to persevere and keep the momentum of instruction and practice going.
