My Favorite Things 2023 was a huge success! Thank you to everyone involved.

My Favorite Things

What is My Favorite Things?

My Favorite Things is an annual luncheon fundraising event that is done in an enchanting way. Its purpose is to support youth education initiatives of the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra including the LaGrange Symphony Youth Orchestra, String Ensemble, String Project, Ovation! Summer Music Camp, Musicians in Schools, and Children’s Educational Concerts.

This wonderful outing is open to everyone and is much more than just a luncheon with newly-made and/or long-time friends. It is a ticketed event and has several features. Marvel at the elaborately decorated tables and place settings that make everyone feel like a special guest, bid in the silent auction that includes everything from trips to original art, shop an entire marketplace where you may find the perfect gift for a friend (or yourself), enjoy great fellowship and an entertaining program while you savor a delicious meal.

The 2023 event was October 3rd. The 2024 event is being planned now.

My Favorite Things is always a memorable event as well as an excellent opportunity to get started on your holiday shopping. We deeply appreciate your support and hope that you will continue to help us make a difference in the lives of the youth in our community.

Below are a few photos from past events.

The LaGrange Symphony Guild was created in April of 1991 to broaden community and financial support for the LSO. They continue to promote the LSO mission with creative fund-raising events and have worked wonders in support of our youth orchestra and musical education.

By becoming a member of the LaGrange Symphony Guild, you are supporting the important work of the symphony in mentoring young musicians. All proceeds from Guild membership and fundraising activities go to support the LSO youth-education initiatives, including:

LaGrange Symphony Youth Orchestra
String Ensemble
String Project
Ovation! Music Camp
Musicians in Schools
Children’s Educational Concerts
