LaGrange Symphony Youth Orchestra and String Ensemble are in active rehearsal
The LaGrange Symphony Youth Orchestra (LSYO) and String Ensemble Fall Concert will be on Tuesday November 19th at 7:00 PM in Callaway Auditorium, LaGrange, GA. Mark your calendar for this wonderful musical journey they have planned! This impressive concert is free to attend.
There are two distinct Youth Orchestras within the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra made up of different age groups. The String Ensemble, which is conducted by Sam Lee, consists of the younger musicians. The LSYO, which is conducted by Maestro Richard Prior, is made up of the older and more seasoned musicians. In this concert the groups will play individually as well as together for a combined orchestra experience. You will be surprised at the talent level and musicianship of both of these groups! Plan to attend and begin this great season of holidays with a musical treat!
Preparations are underway
Both the LSYO and the String Ensemble have been working diligently in preparation for this concert. The LSO takes great pride in both Youth Orchestras and is pleased to share the impressive repertoire for this concert.
