Each section of the Joy of Italy concert was timeless from the passion and drama of Carmen, to the renewal of Spring and finally to the sunshine drenched vistas of Mendelssohn’s Italian. It was delivered from the musicians with enthusiasm and skill and received by the audience with open hearts. Well done LSO! We enjoyed the lovely celebration of Joy of Italy and look forward to the April 29th season finale concert Music of the Night

Youth Orchestras in active rehearsal for wonderful upcoming concert. Here is a sneak peek!

The Dr. Scott H. Smith Award of Excellence Scholarship is open to any high school senior currently enrolled in public, private or home school and who has at any time, past or present, participated in one or more of the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra’s programs. These programs include the Youth Orchestra, the Strings Ensemble, the Young Artists Competition, and/or the Ovation Music Camp.

This will start the season with a classical explosion and rare historical opportunity! This concert is uniquely American with breathtaking works by great American composers of the last century.

A remarkably good concert. Graduating seniors honored. Great professionalism in such young musicians in both the String Ensemble and the LSYO.

Listen to the Music of the Night! The LSO will perform their season finale concert “Music of the Night” with many great works, including Phantom of the Opera! Check it out!
