Meet Lauren Yejin Kang who at just 15 years old is already studying at The Juilliard School Pre-College, where she trains with Sheryl Staples, Principal Associate Concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic. Lauren began playing violin at age five and now travels weekly between Alabama and New York to pursue her studies—an extraordinary commitment that reflects both her discipline and her passion. Already recognized as one of the nation’s most promising young violinists, she brings remarkable artistry and poise well beyond her years.

LaGrange Symphony Orchestra, Inc. was awarded a grant by Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA), a division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development, as part of its initial disbursement of grants for fiscal year 2022.
