My Favorite Things is a wonderful annual luncheon event sponsored by the LaGrange Symphony Guild, as its main fundraiser. Each year, this exciting social gathering features beautifully themed tables, delicious food, auction items, vendors, art displays, guest speakers, and entertainment. All proceeds from this fundraising event support mentoring and music education for young musicians in conjunction with the LaGrange Symphony Youth Orchestra, String Project, and Summer Music Camp. The Guild members work tirelessly to make this event memorable and fun and every year the result is fabulous. My Favorite Things 2021, which took place on November 30th, was a wonderfully fun event.

A huge Thank You! This heartfelt appreciation is for everyone who helped make this event fun, entertaining, joyous, beautiful, delicious, and successful. The mission of the LaGrange Symphony Guild is to support music education, and the success of this fundraiser underwrites that purpose. All proceeds, yes… ALL proceeds are used for young musicians’ education within the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra’s Youth Orchestras (LSYO and String Ensemble), String Project, and Summer Music Camp.

There is still time to donate to our cause! At the very bottom of every page of the LSO website, within the gray area, you will see a yellow “DONATE” button, which is secure and easy to use. (Once you look at the photos, just scroll down to see this handy button) When you click the button and put in your amount, one of the screens lets you include a note with your donation. Please put “in support of music education” on that line and your donation will be used for just that purpose. Thank you.
