The Choral Society of West Georgia and the Lafayette Christian School Chorus will appear as guest artists December 11th, 2018 with the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra. This concert will be held in Callaway Auditorium, LaGrange, GA at 7:30 PM and will premiere an original work by Rob Kirby. (Read more about the composer, Rob Kirby, here.)
The Choral Society of West Georgia, under the direction of Bettie Biggs, is shown in the photo here, taken at their recent November, 2018 concert. The Lafayette Christian School Chorus, under the direction of Darlene Shaw, was one of the featured choral groups with special invitation, to the West Georgia Choral Festival in 2018. Both choral groups are outstanding, and their performance, next Tuesday night, is highly anticipated.
Along with this premiere, the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Richard Prior, will present their holiday concert filled with the Christmas spirit. What a great way to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year. This will be a very full program indeed!
