This video snippet is of the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra (LSO) from their 4/28/2026 concert “250 Years of Being”. Under the direction of Maestro Richard Prior, this portion of the LSO’s season finale performance was of Andres Martin’s “Morgante Violin Concerto”. The piece was commissioned by Roger Arvid Anderson in memory of acclaimed conductor Michael Morgan and marked the Georgia premiere. It features Samuel Vargas Teixeira, violin for whom the piece was dedicated.
