[…] Jonathan Pilkington has performed with the LSO before under the baton of Maestro Prior. On December 10th, 2019, Mr. Pilkington was one of six soloists for Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy, Op 80 (1808) with the Choral Society of West Georgia. This was the “Sounds of Peace” Concert. If you would like to read a review of the 2019 “Sounds of Peace” concert, you can find it HERE. […]

[…] These glowing reviews are just a small sampling of the many positive comments heard after the LSO’s final concert of the season. While it was the finale for the 2021-22 season, it was also the first concert back home at Callaway Auditorium in over two years. Both spring concerts of 2020 had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, so the last concert at Callaway Auditorium was actually December 10th 2019, “Sounds of Peace“.
[…] This week’s guest is Bettie Biggs on the LSO podcast, Off the Podium, with Maestro Richard Prior. Ms. Biggs is the founder and artistic director of the Choral Society of West Georgia (CSWG). The Choral Society is a multi-generational choir representing a rich cross section of the community population. They have an impressive track record of successful and innovative community choral events. You may recall that the LSO collaborated with the CSWG for the exceptional Christmas concerts in December 2018 (A Holiday Concert – click to read the review from that concert), and in December 2019 (Sounds of Peace – click to read the review from that concert).
