Musicians in Schools

Musicians in Schools is just one of the many educational outreach initiatives of the LSO.

Ensembles consisting of LSO musicians make annual visits to schools in both Troup County and Meriwether County. During the visit, the musicians perform short pieces and provide educational lectures about the music, their instruments and the life of a professional musician.
