Youth Programs

Providing opportunities for youth to perform and to attend concerts is another way by which the LSO fulfills its mission.

Youth outreach initiatives include the LaGrange Symphony Youth Orchestra and LSYO String Ensemble. We also present Ovation! Music Camp and annual Children’s Concerts for school children in Troup and Meriwether County, GA and Chambers County, AL.

MISSION and GOALS: To enrich the community through music by providing three distinct playing opportunities for young musicians of all ages.

The LSO’s Youth Orchestra Programs strive to cultivate the artistic growth and excellence of our young musicians by providing an enriching orchestral performance opportunity, and by mentoring these young community players.
